Homes In Service Ministries Preparing
homes for waiting children Religion that God our Father
accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans in their distress. Homes
In Service is about God's plan for His children. We provide the resources for families to heed
God's call on their lives and bring them together with children who need hope
and a place to call home… forever. At
any given time there are over 4,000 children in Michigan's foster care system
who are available and waiting for a family to call their own. There
are four different ways that you can get involved: Adoptive Families - You can prayerfully consider whether God has a child (or two) waiting to become a part of your family. Wrap Around Families - Each adoptive family needs 3-5 families to provide wrap around
support such as baby-sitting or respite care, meals, prayer teams, mentoring... Service Providers - You may have a special
service that you could donate to a family such as carpentry, hairdressing,
tutoring , counseling... Homes In Service Support
Families -
Consider becoming part of the Homes In Service Ministries support team by
becoming a contact person, prayer partner and/or financial supporter. His
Ministries will partner with churches to create an adoption process where a
family does not need to feel confused, overwhelmed or alone by providing the
following: All state required training on site. Assistance with paperwork and house preparation. Organized support through the process and after. Prayer teams and a whole variety of assistance from the body of Christ. Our
goal is to find qualified, permanent, loving, Christian families for Michigan's
"waiting children," children in foster care who have had parental rights
terminated. We accomplish this through
recruiting, training, and supporting adoptive parents, churches, support
volunteers, and financial supporters.
